I was looking for a quick and easy meatball recipe - at first I questioned the amount of milk and bread crumbs, but it came out GREAT! My picky little 3 yr. old liked it too! I will be adding this to my recipe box! Thanks!

I misplaced my Family Recipe, and fortunately stumbled upon this recipe!

This is the same recipe my Great GrandMother used when she had an Italian restaurant on the veranda of her home in Philadelphia in the 20's, 30's and 40's.

These meatballs are light and fluffy, the only thing I did differently was substitute goat cheese for cow cheese, Pecorino Romano instead of Parmesan.

AWSOME!

I was looking for a meatball recipe that used equal parts of ground beef and Italian sausage and this is IT!! The meatballs have so much flavor and are so yummy!! I did make some modifications to mine though - I added some grated Parmesan (probably about a quarter cup or so, I didn't measure) and I browned mine in some oil, then finished them on a baking sheet in the oven while my pasta cooked. Great recipe!

It was good.. First time I have ever made them but we used 4 pieces of bread to make the crumbs and then sprinkled in some Aunt Jemimia pancake mix to make them a bit more sticky.. After we browned them and baked in a 350°F oven for about 15 mins I put them back in the cleaned out skillet and pour the sauce over and let them simmer another 10 mins or so.. They are awesome!
