I had to take a couple of looks at this before I got it, it's a good thing I've done this before and was just looking here for measurements and baking temp/time - you've accidentally omitted the sugar in the fruit, water, and vanilla mixture that you bring to a boil with the berries...Oops - hopefully the next person that sees this recipe reads this and is a little less confused about what you do with that first 1cup of sugar :) Thanks for the great recipe - and if I might add my own twist a little cinnamon/sugar sprinkled over the whole thing about 10 minutes before it's done makes for a nice crispiness on top of the biscuit, so it stays nice and firm when you go Ala mode! :)

I was looking for a cobbler recipe for the longest. I was so happy when I came across this one. I am not a baker at all but your recipe was simple as I already had these ingredients in the pantry. My family loves it so much. Thanks for sharing.
