QUICK & EASY APPLE PIE 
5 apples, peeled and sliced thin
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Put apples in buttered 9-inch pie pan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

TOP CRUST:

2 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

For crust, melt butter. Put in sugar. Blend egg into mixture. Sift flour and baking powder. Stir flour into mixture. Drop with spoon over apples. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

Note: If using self-rising flour, omit baking powder.
