EASY MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER | |
2 cans chopped or minced clams with juice 6 slices bacon, chopped 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 c. boiling water 1 can tomatoes, chopped 1 c. diced potatoes 1/2 c. diced carrots 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. ketchup 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Fry bacon until crisp in 3 quart saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender. Add water, vegetables, ketchup, clams, and seasonings. Cover and simmer 40 to 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. |
