GINGERBREAD 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
3 eggs
1 c. veg. oil
1 c. molasses (or use 1/2 c. Karo syrup & 1/2 c. molasses)
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan, set aside. In large bowl sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, ginger and allspice. Set aside.

Combine oil, molasses, sugar and eggs in large mixing bowl. Beat on medium 3 minutes until blended. Add dry ingredients and blend. Quickly stir in boiling water. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Good with whipped cream or pudding icing. (If this is iced ahead of time, the color will seep through the icing.)
