FROSTED GINGERBREAD 
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. hot water
1 c. molasses
1 egg, beaten
3 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix first 4 ingredients together, beat well, then add dry ingredients gradually. Pour into a large, greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Frost with lemon icing while still warm.

LEMON FROSTING:

1 cup icing sugar, 1 teaspoon butter, add enough lemon juice to make a spreading consistency.
