PUMPKIN BARS WITH CREAM CHEESE
FROSTING
 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. Bisquick
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
2 c. applesauce may be used in place of pumpkin (optional)

Mix bread ingredients together and pour into greased 10 x 15-inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk
2 c. powdered sugar

For icing, stir cream cheese and butter. Add milk and vanilla, then powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and frost bars.

Bars can be sprinkled with powdered sugar in lieu of icing.
