RUSSIAN CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/3 c. cooked rice
1 tsp. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. hot water
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 head cabbage
1 tbsp. butter
1 can tomato soup

Combine the beef, pork, rice, egg, sugar, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place cabbage leaves in boiling hot water for a few minutes for easy rolling. Roll meat mixture inside individual leaves. Place rolls in baking pan. Dot with butter. Combine soup and water. Pour over rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

I made this recipe for my boyfriend and he LOVED it so much so that he ate 4. For the meat I used all beef and used Tomato and Basil pasta sauce instead of the soup, I also added a little bit of rolled oats. I also added more garlic. As I am a Vegan I tried to make it with Veggie ground and it was NOT GOOD AT ALL..so if anyone has any Vegan cabbage roll recpices that would be awesome!

I've made cabbage rolls with rice only for years. Increase your seasoning a little. One of our favorites is to add some currents to the filling instead of sugar. Very good.
