EASY MAC AND CHEESE | |
1 (16 oz.) pkg. macaroni pasta 2 tbsp. salted butter Prepare macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Melt butter, combine with macaroni. Set aside. CHEESE SAUCE: 3/4 cup milk 1 tbsp. heavy cream 1 tbsp. cornstarch 3/4 cup diced cheddar cheese salt, to taste freshly ground black pepper, to taste Bring milk and cream to a boil in a covered pot. Remove lid and stir in cornstarch. Then, slowly add cheese, whisking between each addition. Season with salt and pepper. Stir cheese sauce into macaroni and butter. Serve. Submitted by: JonJon25 |
