EASY MAC AND CHEESE 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. macaroni pasta
2 tbsp. salted butter

Prepare macaroni according to package directions. Drain.

Melt butter, combine with macaroni. Set aside.

CHEESE SAUCE:

3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp. heavy cream
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 cup diced cheddar cheese
salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Bring milk and cream to a boil in a covered pot. Remove lid and stir in cornstarch. Then, slowly add cheese, whisking between each addition. Season with salt and pepper.

Stir cheese sauce into macaroni and butter. Serve.
