FRUIT CAKE ROLL 
1 (12 oz. or 1 lb.) box vanilla wafers
1 can Borden Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 c. candied fruit, chopped
Raisins (add as desired)
Nuts, chopped (add as desired)
Powdered sugar

Crush vanilla wafers to crumbs into bowl. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix with hands, as mixture is sticky. With powdered sugar on hands and sprinkled on wax paper, form logs about 2 inches in diameter by 6 to 8 inches in length, rolling the logs in the powdered sugar until coated. Wrap each roll in wax paper. Chill in refrigerator several hours. When ready to serve, slice rolls in about 1/2-inch slices. (This is almost as good as real time-consuming, expensive fruitcake, only no baking involved!)
