APPLESAUCE JUMBLES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4 c. flour

GLAZE:

1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
2 to 4 tbsp. hot water

Mix all ingredients except glaze together. If dough is soft, cover and refrigerate. Drop by teaspoonful, 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until almost no indentation remains when touched, about 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet. Cook. Spread with browned butter glaze.

GLAZE: Heat butter over low heat until golden brown. Remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in water until smooth and of desired consistency. Spread over cooled cookies. Makes 4 dozen.
