2 c. Great Northern beans
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 lb. bacon, cut into pieces
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. molasses
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. ketchup

Soak beans overnight. In a.m. drain. Cover with cold water and boil 20 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to water. Drain. Put beans in roaster or casserole.
