COOKED CHOCOLATE FROSTING | |
2 c. white granulated sugar 2 tbsp. cocoa 3 tbsp. milk 2 tbsp. butter 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients in saucepan, mixing very well to be sure egg is well blended. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Bring to rolling boil for 2 minutes. Set aside to cool for 5-8 minutes. Beat to spreading consistency. Frosting will begin to crystalize and appear "fudge like" when ready to spread. |
