AUNT HATTIE'S POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 sticks butter
5 lg. eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. each lemon and vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream sugar, butter, and oil together. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Alternate milk and flour beating well after each addition. Grease and flour tube pan before starting cake. Put cake in cold oven, bake at 325 degrees for almost 2 hours until cake tester comes out clean. Delicious!
