AUNT JACK'S CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 sticks butter
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour (sifted)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, shortening and butter. Add eggs one at a time and cream. Sift dry ingredients together 3 times. Add milk and dry ingredients to sugar mixture, alternately add vanilla and beat well. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

FROSTING:

2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. flour
2 lumps butter

Mix ingredients in boiler and bring to a rolling boil. Remove and beat until cool. Spread on cooled cake.
