2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring and let boil 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in oats, nuts, peanut butter and vanilla, mixing well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.

Makes about 3 dozen.
