YAMS AND APPLES 
2 apples
1/3 c. chopped pecans
2 (17 oz.) cans yams, drained
2 c. marshmallows
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Toss apples (sliced), nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. Alternate layers of above mixture with layer of yams, into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows on top. Broil until brown.
