BUTTERSCOTCH STICKS 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Add brown sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla and baking powder. Mix well. Add flour and nuts, dough is stiff. Put in greased 11 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes, depending on how soft you want them.
