NUTTY CINNAMON STICKS 
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 egg, separated
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 sticks)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. finely chopped pecans

Sift flour, sugar and cinnamon. Cream butter; then work into flour mixture. Add egg yolk and vanilla, mix well. In lightly greased jelly roll pan (17 x 11 x 3/4) spread mixture to 1/4 inch thickness. With a pastry brush, spread egg white over surface; sprinkle with nuts. Bake in 325 degree oven 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into rectangles; remove to rack to cool.
