JOHN'S RHUBARB CRISP | |
4 c. diced raw pink rhubarb 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. water 3/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats 2/3 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter Combine first 4 ingredients and put in greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Combine next 5 ingredients in mixing bowl. Cut in butter with fork until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over rhubarb. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Serve warm with or without cream, ice cream, etc. |
