ST. TIMOTHY'S CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. golden raisins
1 c. sour cream

Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar gradually and continue to cream. Blend in vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add nuts and raisins; coat well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream; blend well.

Turn into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until the cake is done. Leave for at least 1 hour before turning out.
