“GRILLED PORK LOIN” IS IN:

GRILLED PORK LOIN 
2 1/2 - 3 lb. boneless pork loin, split lengthwise
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. soy sauce (more or less, to taste)
1/2 c. sherry
1 tbsp. dark molasses
1/4 tsp. garlic powder and/or 5 cloves minced
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine soy sauce, sherry, salt, ginger, dry mustard and garlic powder. Place pork loin in a shallow pan. Pour marinade over pork; cover and marinate 2 hours or more, turning the meat occasionally.

Place loin on grill 6 to 8 inches above low coals. Grill 1 to 1 1/2 hours, turning frequently. Brush with marinade several times during cooking.

To serve, cut in thin slices. Serve with hot mustard, if desired.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Father's Day dinner was a success thanks to this easy, inexpensive & delicious recipe! Only had 1/2 c. soy sauce on hand. So glad too...less salty!!

This is the best dang marinade I have ever ever EVER used! I use low sodium soy sauce, otherwise it is too salty. I put the two pork loins each in a foil wrapped meatloaf pan with marinade in pans, place foil over them and grill for about and hour or until done,then take them out of pans (leave marinade in pan and place on grill until outer edges get a crisp, slice and pour a small amount of marinade over! It will disappear!
