GREEN CHILI CORNBREAD 
3 eggs, beaten
2 1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening, melted
3 c. cornbread mix
3 tbsp. sugar
1 can cream style corn
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can chopped green chilies
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Combine all ingredients, except shortening and mix well. Divide melted shortening into 2 iron skillets, pour batter over each and bake at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes or until brown.
