FRENCH BREAKFAST PUFFS 
2/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs

Mix together. 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Mix together. Cream first 3 ingredients with mixer. Add second 3 ingredients to first, alternately with 1 cup milk. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Immediately after taking from oven, roll in melted butter, then into a mixture of 1 cup sugar and 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
