FRENCH BREAKFAST PUFFS 
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. melted butter

In mixing bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.

In another bowl, beat egg slightly; stir in milk and 1/3 cup melted butter. Add egg mixture to flour mixture. Stir until just moistened.

Pour into greased muffin cups and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

While baking, combine cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar. Immediately dip baked muffins in 1/3 cup melted butter, then sugar-cinnamon mixture. Serve warm.
