GREEN BEANS SWEET SOUR 
1 lb. green string beans
3 slices of bacon, cut sm.
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
Salt & pepper to season

Wash string beans. Cook in slated water until tender. Fry out bacon until crisp and brown. Add flour to drippings in frying pan and brown. Add 1 cup of liquid from beans to bacon and flour, stirring to make a medium thick sauce. Add vinegar and sugar. Add beans and simmer 10 minutes.
