SWEET AND SOUR GREEN BEANS 
1 med. onion, diced
1/4 lb. bacon, cut in sm. pieces
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
16 oz. can French cut green beans
Salt to taste

Brown bacon in medium saucepan. Drain, leaving 1 tablespoon. Add onion and cook over medium heat until tender; add vinegar and brown sugar; stir well. Add beans. Simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring 1-2 times. Serves 8.
