STUFFED PEPPERS 
1 lb. ground steak or half pork & beef
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 sm. cabbage
Salt & pepper to taste
1 egg
4 med. peppers, cut in half
1 med. onion
1 can tomato sauce or tomato soup
1 tsp. paprika
1 c. or more water
1/4 c. catsup

Shred cabbage, use 1/2 on bottom of pot, 1/2 on top of peppers. Put meat in bowl. Add seasoning, rice and eggs. Fry chopped onions an paprika. Add to meat. Cut peppers in half. Fill with meat, put in pot on top of shredded cabbage. Top with rest of cabbage, tomato sauce, water and catsup. Simmer for 1 hour.
