3 BEAN SALAD | |
1 (15 oz) can 3 Bean Salad 4 cloves garlic, finely minced 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar 1/4 tsp. basil, dried 1/4 tsp. salt, sea 1/4 tsp. black pepper, ground 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. shallot, raw, chopped 1 large onion, raw 1/8 tsp. celery seed 1 large green pepper, sweet, raw (bell), large 1/4 tsp. dried parsley 1/2 tsp. oregano 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except olive oil. Mix well and allow to marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature. (This helps the garlic, shallot and onions to mellow and infuses the oil with the herbs.) Just before serving, stir in olive oil and mix well. Taste and adjust seasonings. Makes 5 servings.
