JACK 'O LANTERN PIE (NO-BAKE) | |
1 cup boiling water 1 pkg. orange flavor jello (4 serving size) 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened 1 prepared chocolate flavor crumb crust (I use Keebler) TO DECORATE: Cool Whip, thawed candy corn black licorice, cut into 1-inch pieces Stir boiling water into jello in medium bowl, about 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Spoon in ice cream, stirring until melted and smooth. Refrigerate 10 minutes or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites). Spoon into prepared crust. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Just before serving, make Jack-O-Lantern face on pie with Cool Whip, candy corn and licorice. Store any leftover pie in refrigerator. Makes 8 servings.
