AUSTRIAN POPPYSEED CAKE 
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/3 c. oil
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. butter extract

Mix together until smooth with rotary blender. Add: 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. poppyseeds

Beat until mixed. The batter will be thin and runny. Pour into 2 greased and floured bread pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. butter extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Bring all ingredients to a rolling boil. Dribble with spoon over hot cake slowly. Let sit in pan to absorb glaze. Run a knife around pan to release cake from sides. Remove cake when cool. Freezes great!
