POPPY SEED CAKE WITH CARAMEL
SAUCE
 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c. oil
4 eggs

Mix all of above and beat 3 minutes. 1 c. boiling water

Soak poppy seeds in water for 5 minutes. Add seeds and water to cake mixture, beat another 2 minutes. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

CARAMEL SAUCE:

1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
2 tbsp. flour

Stir together and boil 2 minutes. Then add 2 teaspoons of vanilla. Serve warm over cake.
