WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. white flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/4 c. plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 c. chocolate chips, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream the butter and sugar together until very light and creamy. Beat in egg. Sift together the dry ingredients. Combine bananas and yogurt just enough to mix.

Add dry ingredients alternately with banana mixture to butter mixture stirring just enough to combine well. Put in greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and finish cooling.
