WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD | |
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. water 1/2 c. Carnation instant non-fat dry milk 3 tbsp. oil 1 slightly beaten egg 1 c. mashed bananas 1 c. chopped nuts Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon in large bowl. Combine water, dry milk, oil, and egg. Add milk mixture, banana, and nuts to dry mixture. Stir just until all ingredients are well blended. Turn into buttered 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf dish. Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) for 60-70 minutes. Makes 1 loaf. |
