7-UP WHOLE WHEAT BREAD 
3 c. self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar (or honey)
1 (12 oz.) can 7-Up (room temp.)
1/2 c. whole wheat flour with 1 tsp. baking powder (optional)
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 stick butter

Mix flour and sugar in bowl. If honey is used in place of sugar, warm honey and add after 7-Up. Add 7-Up, honey if applicable, and mix with fork as little as possible. Add raisins and mix in dough. DO NOT OVERMIX. Dough will be chunky. Pour into greased loaf pan, bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Pour 1 stick melted butter over the bread and bake for 10 more minutes.

NOTE: If the additional 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour is used, you may need additional 7-Up.

Yield: 1 loaf.
