OATMEAL ALMOND COOKIES 
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2 egg whites
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. almonds, sliced

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Beat sugar, butter and corn syrup until fluffy. Add egg whites and extract; mix well. Gradually add combined remaining ingredients; mix well. Drop by 1/4 measuring cup about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press into 3-inch circles.

Bake at 350°F for 14 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.
