2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs
pinch of salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time; blend together. Mix in salt, flour and vanilla. Cook slowly for 1 hour at 250°F.
