GERMAN LOAF POUND CAKE 
1 sq. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, eggs and vanilla. Alternate milk and flour; add baking powder to flour. Beat very well. Place in loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
