LOAF POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 cups butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream or yogurt

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Prepare two loaf pans; grease and dust with flour and shake out excess (or spray with non-stick spray).

Cream sugar, butter and eggs together. Add salt, baking soda and flour a little at a time. Fold in sour cream or yogurt. Pour into two loaf pans.

Bake in a 325°F oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Loaves are very good & easy. I substituted greek yogart for the sour cream, 1 tbsp vanilla & 1 cup dried cherries. Don't forget to grease your loaf pans. I will definitely make these loaves again.
