HEAVENLY DIVINITY 
2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. cold water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, syrup, and water well and boil to the soft ball stage. Beat eggs and vanilla stiff while syrup is cooking. Pour half of syrup over whites. Boil rest of syrup to hard ball stage and then add to the mixture. Fold in the nuts. Drop onto waxed paper.
