TYROLEAN HARD CAKE | |
2 1/2 c. flour 1 c. plus 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. almond extract 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 c. walnuts 2 eggs Chop walnuts finely in food processor. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients and process until well mixed. Grease two 9 inch or 10 inch round cake pans. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and fill pans in circular pattern. Sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees until medium brown on top. |
