FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
1 lb. chopped pecans
6 slices glazed pineapple
1 lb. mixed fruit
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. chopped dates
12 oz. glazed cherries
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
3 c. flour

Cream butter, eggs, sugar and milk. Sift dry ingredients together and mix with other ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until the edges show brown.
