MY MOTHER'S FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
1 stick butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. warm water
1/4 c. fruit juice or red wine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 lbs. chopped dates
1 lb. whole nuts, can chop
1/2 lb. crystalized cherries
1/2 lb. crystalized pineapple

Mix above together. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 25 minutes.
