2 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed 1 sm. pkg. chopped walnuts 2 sm. pkgs. regular vanilla pudding (not instant) 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter (butter) 2 tbsp. milk 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Heavily butter 9"x13" baking pan. Sprinkle walnuts over bottom of pan. Tear or cut one loaf of frozen bread into small pieces over bottom of pan on walnuts. Combine pudding, brown sugar, butter, milk and cinnamon in saucepan. Bring to a boil and pour over bread pieces. Break up or cut up second loaf of thawed bread into pieces and arrange on sauce over first layer. Cover and let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Bake about 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. Flip pan to serve with the walnuts on top. Yield: 12 servings. |
