EASY SHORTCAKE BISCUITS FOR FOUR 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. soft shortening
Milk to stir

Sift flour and baking powder together; cut in shortening with pastry blender or 2 knives. Add enough milk to make a dough that holds together. Drop on an ungreased baking sheet. Shape into rounded biscuit form. Bake in 425 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
