LIGHT'N EASY BISCUITS 
3 c. flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in Crisco until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk, stir until blended. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface. Knead lightly. Cut and place into ungreased 9 inch square pan or 9 x 11 x 2 cake pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Makes 15 biscuits.
