1 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. butter
1 c. damson preserves

Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks and then add preserves. Whip egg whites and add to mixture with 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Do not overbake.
