TURTLE CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. Eagle Brand condensed milk
1 stick butter
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels

Generously grease and flour 11x13 inch cake pan. Mix cake as directed on box. Pour half of batter into pan and bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

While cake is baking, melt the caramels with the butter and milk. Over baked cake, sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans and pour caramel mixture evenly. Then add remainder of cake batter and return to oven for 20-25 minutes or until done.

Can use a chocolate frosting or additional pecans on top. Cut with a warm knife after cake has cooled at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.
