WHITE TURTLE CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
1 c. water
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 c. pecans, chopped

FROSTING:

1/2 c. melted butter
1 (1 lb.) powdered sugar
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Add first 3 ingredients beat well. Add flour. Pour over warm cake. Preheat 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, water, 1/2 of condensed milk, vegetable oil and eggs. Spread 1/2 batter in a greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake 30 minutes; melt caramels in remaining milk in saucepan, stirring frequently. Stir in pecans, pour over hot cake. Spread remaining batter over caramel layer. Bake 20 minutes longer, ice warm cake.
