1 box Betty Crocker German chocolate cake mix
3/4 stick butter
1 pkg. Kraft caramel candy
1 sm. can evaporated milk

Mix cake mix as instructed on box. Melt butter and candy over low heat. Add milk.

In a 9x13 inch greased pan, bake half of cake mixture 15 minutes at 350 degrees (glass, 325 degrees). Then add the butter, candy and milk mixture on top of partially baked cake. Add 1 cup chopped pecans and 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread evenly. Then pour rest of cake mixture and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
